Black Gessos are ready-to-use formulations for painting on most surfaces. They are flexible and can be applied in thin layers to conform to a variey to textures without cracking. For oil painting, we recommended that at least three layers of gesso. Gesso can be mixed with acrylic colors to produce a range of colored grounds.

Wetting Agent [formerly Acrylic Flow Release] is a concentrated additive used to reduce surface tension of the water in the acrylic emulsion, thereby increasing the slickness and flow of the paint. It is effective for achieving rich stains on a porous surface. As with OPEN Thinner and Retarder, Wetting Agent contains no binder and should only be used properly diluted per product instructions. Molding Paste (Regular) GOLDEN Molding Paste is similar to the consistency of GOLDEN Heavy Gels, yet the marble dust solids impart a unique feel due to the material's higher density. It is an opaque gray product that dries to a semi-gloss sheen.
When used alone or mixed with other products, such as GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics, it offers a hard yet flexible film. Capable of holding good peaks, Molding Paste is excellent for building surfaces or creating textures.

Airbrush Medium modifies GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics for spray application by reducing clogging and tip buildup during spraying.
