MTN PRO Wash Primer is a grey anchoring primer with excellent adhesion to galvanized, electrozinced steel or aluminum and other types of polished metals. Phosphate Primer (Wash Primer) is especially designed as a preliminary coat for the subsequent painting of garage doors, shutters, aluminum frames and copper pipes. It can be used as a primer for nylon 6 plastic surfaces, carbon fiber, epoxy, polyester, acrylate, PVC, PC and ABS. Thanks to its characteristics, the product also offers good anchoring properties on surfaces already painted with polyester-type paints (aluminum frames) or 2k epoxy after sanding. Isolation Coat is a ready-to-use sealing coat for acrylic paintings. Previously acrylic artists’ only recourse was to dilute Soft Gel Gloss with water (our former and still acceptable recommendation) before applying it to completed acrylic artwork. Isolation Coat eliminates the need to measure and mix while increasing flow and leveling. Isolation coat is a permanent acrylic medium that seals surface absorbency and allows for improved varnish application and easier varnish removal. Apply one or more layers before varnishing. -

Viarco ArtGraf Watercolor Graphite has an interesting and very expressive graphic personality offering the artist an extensive scale of graphite greys that range from the deep blacks to more subtle, brighter and more transparent ones. Wet the brush directly on the product controlling the amount of water according to the desired shades. Brush is not included. -

OPEN Acrylics are a slow-drying paint with a slightly softer consistency than our Heavy Body paints. The increased working time of these colors expands their range to include more traditional techniques once only possible with oils. Thick applications can dry extremely slowly, so we recommend artists only use OPEN Colors thinly (< 1 mm). Drying time can also be accelerated by mixing OPEN with faster-drying acrylics like our Fluid and Heavy Body colors. The slow-drying capability of OPEN Acrylics also makes the suitable for some printmaking techniques. Because OPEN Acrylics dry slowly, painters who cover their palettes or use sealed containers have been able to use the same colors for weeks, reducing the amount of paint wasted and preserving color mixtures for future use. Gamblin Stand Oil is a thickened version of Refined Linseed Oil. Modifying oil colors with Gamblin Stand Oil increases flow and gloss and slows dry time. Colors mixed with Stand Oil will dry to a smooth, enamel-like finish. Use sparingly or mix with an equal amount Gamsol to create a traditional, slowdrying, high-viscosity painting medium.
